We built a flash widget for Warner Brothers Records to support the release of Green Day’s biggest album to date, “21st Century Breakdown.” This is a highly complex database driven widget, including secure media streams, data syndication and viral distribution.

Data is syndicated through the band’s website so once the site is updated, the widget is automatically updated anywhere it is embedded across the web so fans always have access to the band’s latest news, photos, tour dates, and videos.

Customized to work on all social networking applications such as myspace, facebook etc…, the widget features a direct link to purchase the new album on iTunes, email and mobile mailing list signups and a carrousel gallery for users to flick through. With over 5 million views and 25,000 placements and counting, this is a slick unit for users to interact with and an amazingly useful marketing, promotional and sales tool for the band.
